Lead Software Engineer
Andy has a unique "right brain/left brain" balance which makes him comfortable leading the design, engineering, and business aspects of developing a web application. With a B.F.A. from Pratt Institute, and several years of hands-on coding experience, his creative approach to problem solving has made him an invaluable asset to many Tivix clients.
Prior to joining Tivix, Andy worked in several capacities, all based in the creative use of technology. Starting off as an animator on a Jim Henson production, followed by working as a post-production artist at photography studios, Andy eventually made his leap into web development via ActionScript (Flash). With the eagerness to learn all code under the sun, HTML, CSS, Javascript, Wordpress/PHP, and Django were not very far behind.
Nowadays Andy can be found at the Tivix office leading projects, writing cool Javascript, designing interfaces and developing complex Django/Python applications for web and mobile.
