Girish graduated from Cardiff University – one of the leading research universities in the UK – where he received his BSc in Business and Computer Science. While at university he worked on various projects where his passion for building great software grew as one of his student projects won the‘Best Group Project’ award by IBM.
After graduation he worked with geologists at the university where he built predictive analytics software for forecasting landslides after large earthquake. This tool aided World Bank in rescue efforts during the 2015 Nepal earthquake (view story). Later on he began to work as a lead developer for a digital marketing firm in Cardiff and for a sports company in the UK before landing at Tivix.
Apart from building software, he loves cooking food, enjoying good local beer, and experimenting with various types of cuisines.
