As a teenager, Erin spent countless hours creating websites. For reasons that perplex her to this day, she then went on to attend law school. After working as a staff attorney with a nonprofit organization for three years, she acknowledged that her passion is for building and creating, not batting down conflict.
Returning to her coding roots, she enrolled in Hackbright Academy, a competitive web development program for women, where she learned Python and other computer science fundamentals, then joined the Tivix team.
Equally left-brained and right-brained, Erin finds web development to be the perfect way to engage her analytical, detail-oriented side while also utilizing her strong visual skills and creativity.
Erin holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Illinois and a law degree from the University of Iowa. In her spare time, she enjoys drawing, painting, and figure skating.
